Performed effectively, a Tarot reading encourages individual strengths, while offering options to overcoming unhelpful blocks. This workshop addresses the practical needs of the beginning student. Comprehension of the cards' compelling imagery, combined with hands-on techniques for conducting powerful readings using precise spreads, this class will prove equally rewarding to intermediate students and experienced readers open to an uncluttered approach capable of providing deeply meaningful messages. Participants are asked to bring a Rider-Waite or Rider-Waite style deck (there's a handout for those who don't have a deck). Limited attendance so please register early. Cost: $15 if registered and prepaid by Mar. 18th; $20 if registering after the 18th. Teacher Bio: Michael Yaccarino is an intuitive Tarot reader performing divination. His gift combines decades of spiritual exploration, practical experience, and academic training in the cards. This has included study with such divergent, world-renowned Tarot specialists as Enrique Enriquez, Rachel Pollack, Craig Junjulas, and Mary K. Greer. He reads for Earth Spirit New Age Center (Red Bank, NJ), Opal Moon (Croton-on-Hudson, NY), Kindred Spirits Center Wilton, CT) and The Metaphysical Center of NJ. As a Tarot instructor, his teachings reach students worldwide. He has been a Certified Professional Tarot Reader (CPTR) since 2007, following the successful completion of Certified Apprentice Tarot Reader (CATR) and Certified Tarot Reader (CTR) levels, not to mention years of private readings.
