An evening of physical and emotional release. All living beings experience sound through bone conduction. The vibrational sounds of the 'singing bowls' permeate our bodies and provide a cellular wash that allows us to experience harmonic resonance, a deep connection to our essence. Participants will immerse themselves in the vibrational frequencies of the bowls. We will end with a group process of the experience. Participants will be asked to lie on the carpeted floor, as the workshop is meditative in nature, and are asked to wear comfortable attire and bring pillows, head rests, light blankets, eye masks, anything that will increase your comfort. Limited attendance.
Cost:
$15 if registered and prepaid by June 20th; $20 if registering after the 20th.
Teacher Bio:
Serge Ivanov is a Recreation Therapist, specializing in music, sound and the creative arts. His life long interest in the therapeutic effects of music and sound led him to incorporate the healing vibrations of the Singing Bowls into his work with others. He now uses sound therapy in private practice, and in clinical settings.
